It is being reported that CBS has cancelled Fam after just one season. The news comes one month following its final episode.
Premiering as a mid-season entry earlier this year, the comedy was a decent performer on Thursdays in the 9:30pm time slot, though it did lose a considerable amount of its lead-in audience from veteran Mom at 9:00pm.
Fam starred Nina Dobrev as Clem, a newly-engaged woman who works in event planning for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Her vision of a perfect life with her fiance and his family is turned upside-down when her out-of-control teenage half-sister unexpectedly shows up to live with her.

DAMMIT! I liked this one. While I hated the show name, I really liked Gary Cole and Nina Dobrev and Odessa Adlon too.

I really wanted to like this show because I love Nina Dobrev, and I love TV in general. I only watched about 8 episodes but I couldn't bring myself to keep watching it. The storyline was weak, characters were terrible and the acting was not great. I tried but I'm not surprised this is not being renewed.

Watched 4 episodes and never laughed once. Predictable story lines and horrible acting. CBS got this right but it never should have been aired in the first place.

I did watch this but it wasn't a priority. It had some funny moments, but the sister was mostly annoying and I never got why Clem claimed their dad was dead. He was sleazy and neglectful but not worth calling him dead imo.

Aww. Definitely disappointed, I liked this one a lot.
