The drama receives its first pickup in three years.

Starz announced today that The Girlfriend Experience will be returning for a third season. The good news should please fans who have been awaiting the show's fate; it has been nearly three years since its last renewal and more than a year and a half since its Season 2 finale.
As it did in its sophomore run, Season 3 will once again follow a completely new story. This time the setting is London, where a young neuroscientist in the city's tech scene begins exploring the 'girlfriend experience', only to become entangled in the various relationships she creates.
The cable network has ordered 10 episodes for Season 3 of The Girlfriend Experience, which will return in 2020.

Starz thanks for bringing it back but you desperately are trying to destroy this show. You had the best test of success with season one all you had to do was build on that idea of how a woman fascinated with something she never considered and became successful because it actually fit in with her actual personality.
Season two was ok with the sex as the story line the other half was a waste of time.
Starz, build on the woman characters as in the first and develop each season as reflective if her good or bad. I doubt you will give this show the chance to really develop the women as they should, theses distractions of careers and stories totalky not needed in the girlfriend experience, if you actualky used the title and with season one demonstrated you would have a pure winner. Theses abscure storylines don't do anything other than set it up for cancelation. You really should know better, this is not rocket science.

Slow melodrama with sex thrown in to keep men watching when the women in their lives FORCE them to watch this pile. It's a waste of air time.. but THIS is what late night cable is for isn't it -- B-grade sexploitation?

Wow, I thought Starz ended the show. They never appeared committed to it. I'm very glad its back and hope it is more in tune with season one with one story line and a plot that shows the growth of the character. Season two was a mess.
