No Season 3 for the streaming dramedy.

It looks as if Patriot will not be returning for a third season on Amazon Prime Video. When asked about the dramedy's future at the Television Critics Association's press tour this weekend, the streamer said they have no plans for it to continue.
The decision is not a complete surprise, as it has been nearly nine months since the show's sophomore run and there had been no talk about its future. While its viewership levels are not known, the series was well-received critically in both its seasons, even picking up a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Comedy Series in 2017.
Patriot follows former intelligence officer John Tavner, who returns to duty with an assignment that puts him in a "non-official cover" role as a mid-level employee at a Midwest industrial piping firm in order to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capabilities.

Season 1 was fantastic... season 2 sadly a little bored to be honest.

That's too bad. I really enjoyed this show and would have loved to see where they would have gone in its 3rd season.

Gutted, superb show with excellent dark humour.
Did not like some of the story changes in season 2 as the season 1 finale had set up one storyline and that the writers abadoned and transformed into something else. It still worked but would of been better had the followed through with the plot they had started instead of pivting and keeping said character clean instead of a grey human with flaws. Being vague as to not spoil the show for anyone who has yet to watch it as even with the cancelations the show worth the cazy ride it takes.
Hopefully amazon changes its minds in afew yerars and brings it back.
