No Season 2 for the cable dramedy.
August 29, 2019
It is being reported that American Princess has been cancelled by Lifetime after just one season. The news comes seven weeks after the dramedy concluded its freshman run, with its final episode on July 7 - aptly titled "Faire Well" - now acting as its series ender.
The show follows an Upper East Side socialite named Amanda whose perfectly-planned nuptials are ruined when her fiance cheats on her before their wedding. Upset and betrayed, she runs off but gets stranded in the middle of a Renaissance Faire. Impulsively, Amanda decides to stick around and quickly develops new friendships, rivalries, and even romances that give her a new perspective on life.
The cancellation of American Princess leaves Lifetime without any scripted original series. Its last scripted drama, 2018's You, was also axed after one season but was subsequently picked up by Netflix for a sophomore run.

Pretty annoying they decided not to show the final season of Mary Kills People so anyone who supported the first two seasons has no way to finish it now.
This sounded okay but this is a case of hiding the lamp under a bush. You might have to spend a little money to get people to watch ( and know of) your show lifetime.
This show was delightful. The cast was so warm and likable. The writing and dialogue was really strong and smart. I would have watched 100 episodes, given the chance.
I'm more than a little sad about this.
