It is being reported that Ambitions has been cancelled by OWN after just one season. The sad news comes a month after the drama's freshman finale, which now acts as its series-ender.
The soapy show starred Robin Givens as accomplished lawyer Stephanie Carlisle, the wife of the Atlanta Mayor. She has recently relocated there to revitalize her marriage, but finds herself facing off against some of the most powerful and deceitful players in the city.

This was a great show and I don't understand why it is being cancelled. You only have a few good shows on your network Oprah. You need to be more vested in helping your African American actors and actresses. For the life of me, why did you not pick up Steve Harvey and Roland Martin is beyond me. It's sad enough African Americans do not get the recognition from Hollywood, but it's even worse when you an African American woman who has made it to the top will not support US like you should.

Why did you cancel this show, it was so good, a lot of shows on OWN are not all that. Green leaf is good and so is Queen Sugar, I heard Ambitions had high ratings. David Make Man is so stupid, but you keep that crap on the air.
