The dramedy is not moving forward at the cable network.
March 5, 2020
It is being reported that Pop TV is no longer going to air the second season of Flack, instead opting to cancel the dramedy as part of a move that pares down its lineup of originals. The sad news comes just over a week ahead of its scheduled return to the cable network.
A co-production based out of the UK, the series stars Anna Paquin as Robyn, an American living and working in London as what's known as a flack - a PR executive who promotes, publicizes, and protects her clients. While she's a pro at cleaning up all the disasters caused by her sloppy and selfish clients, her personal life is a bit of a mess itself.
While Season 2 of Flack will not be airing on Pop, it still may find a home on another US network, as the series is likely being shopped around. In the UK its future is unclear. On the W channel's website, a listed return date of March has been recently changed to 'Coming Soon'.
