No Season 2 for the crime drama.
April 3, 2020
Word is out this evening that Fox has cancelled Deputy after just one season. The sad news comes eight days after the western crime procedural wrapped its 13-episode freshman run, which ended up ranking as one of the network's lowest-rated dramas of the season.
The series starred Stephen Dorff as Bill Hollister, a fifth-generation lawman in Los Angeles, who is thrust into the Sheriff's job after the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department loses its elected Sheriff. While not exactly the job he wanted due to the politics involved, he soon learns that following his instincts to pursue justice at all costs is only skill required to get the job done.

BAD MOVE TO CANCEL THE SHOW, IT WAS STARTING TO COME TOGETHER. NOT COUNTING CHANGING THE DAY AND TIME SEVERAL TIMES TOO. IT'S A UNIQUE SHOW FOR A CHANGE, WHY CAN'T YOU GIVE IT A CHANCE. BUT, OF COURSE YOU CAN AD FIVE MORE EVENING GAMESHOWS THAT NO ONE WANTS TO WATCH TOO. NO MATTER THE NUMBER OF CHANNELS AVAILABLE, THE SHOWS PEOPLE WANT TO SEE GET CANCELLED, BUT THE STUFF WE DON'T WATCH JUST KEEP COMING! GREAT !!!!

There finally arrives a unique and entertaining "cop show", and what do they do: cancel it. There were five or six shows shown, with night and time changes several times. The stories were just starting to come together , then you cancel , GREAT NEWS AGAIN, How lucky can we get. However, whatever you do, please be sure to add five or six more evening games shows no one wants to watch too. The storyline was just getting interesting!

No a bad show to watch. I've seen worst than this and survived a few seasons.

GREAT show! Loved it. Not exactly how real life sheriff's office works but it was for entertainment. It was definitely part of my viewing schedule. I hope they don't put some junk show in its place. That is usually what happens. TV execs are far detached from viewers likes. Sad.

The first episode was below average. I give every new show two episodes. The show got progressively better from there.By the time the first season ended, the show became far better than average. Sorry to see it go.

In my opinion the executives at Fox are poopshoots for canceling Deputy!

At least we can all agree they gave this show a chance. This was the only reasonable decision if this was the lowest rated show.
