No Season 2 for the cheerleading drama.
April 30, 2020
It is being reported that Dare Me has been cancelled by USA Network after just one season. The sad news comes just under two months after the cheerleading drama aired its freshman finale on the cable network.
The series takes place in the world of competitive high school cheerleading, following two best friends whose relationship is fractured by the arrival of a new coach and a shocking crime rocks their small Midwestern town.
While the series is a co-production with Netflix, it does not appear the streaming giant is interested in taking the series over for future seasons. It is being reported, however, that producer Universal Content Productions will be shopping the series to other platforms.

Ahem..the main girl was the black girl from a humble background, the rich girl with daddy issues was the supporting character...just saying...

I cam understand why it was cancelled. The acting was horrible. It could have stood a chance with better actors and writing. Oh well, on to the next show.

Easily one of the worst shows for last year. The main girl was a boring, drunk, bi-polar rich girl with daddy issues. Oh yeah that was exciting. The Coach was a ex-cheerleader cheating on her husband with the EX-Quarterback and the other main Cheerleader could not figure out if she was a lesbian in love with her coach or wanted to kill her coach.
TERRIBLE SHOW !!!

I’m glad! I watched up until episode 4 and this show was all over the place! So they can keep it! It’s no need for a second season nor for them to be shopping it around to other networks! We’re GOOD! Without it!

I watched the first five minutes of episode one, and I barely kept myself from sticking my dinner fork in my eye. I’m sure some people liked it, but I would have rather bathed in battery acid and broken glass than watch five more minutes. I’m not surprised at all by the news that it was canceled.

I would appreciate one final episode to wrap up. I loved it to start but it got way too farfetched. Still the way the season ended it needed a second season or at least a last episode to tie up loose ends.

I liked this show a lot and since I haven't seen the last episode yet I was kind of wondering how they would have made a second season out of it anyway. I saw this as an event series instead of a renewable resource. The background music was really captivating most of the time and the acting was definitely up to par for a bunch of new actors I have not seen before. I really won't miss it but I'm glad to have experienced it as a one and done.

A loud flushing sound was heard as another turd departs the bowl.
