HBO announced today that We're Here has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just one day after the new unscripted series wrapped its critically-praised freshman run.
The series traverses the country to see what happens when small-town residents are recruited and trained to participate in a one-night drag performance. Former contestants from RuPaul's Drag Race - Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O'Hara, and Shangela - are along for the ride to help prepare their 'drag daughters' by teaching them how to step outside of their comfort zones.
Look for Season 2 of We're Here in 2021.

So excited for the 2nd season since the 1st season was unexpectedly cut short while they were filming in Spartanburg, NC. I hope that they are able to return and finish what they started there.

Since I'd never pay for HBO, I'll be sure to miss this one when I'm binge watching during a free preview.
