Netflix has renewed Money Heist for Part 5, which will act as the final chapter of its story. The news comes four months after the crime drama's eight-episode Part 4.

In a Twitter post, series creator Alex Pina stated that the show's team has spent nearly a year deciding on the best way to conclude the heist, promising "the most epic and exciting season" yet.

Money Heist, or La casa de papel as it is known in Spanish, follows a criminal mastermind known as The Professor, who recruits eight young thieves who take hostages and lock themselves inside the Royal Mint of Spain as part of a grand plan involving many moving parts.

Look for the final episodes sometime in 2021.
