The Mexican drama will return for Season 2.
August 22, 2020
Netflix has announced that Dark Desire has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes the month after the Mexican drama's premiere, which fared extremely well with viewers around the world.
According to the streaming giant, the series was viewed globally by 35 million households during its first 28 days. That ranks it as Netflix's best-performing non-English debut season to-date. Hearing those numbers makes the renewal a no-brainer.
Dark Desire follows Alma, a married law professor who spends a fateful weekend away from home that ends up igniting passion, but ending in tragedy. This leads her to question the truth about her husband, who harbors dark secrets of his own.

I agree! I really liked Society. I have never even heard of this show. Netflix has been renewing crappy shows lately.
