No Season 3 for the supernatural horror series.

Word is out that AMC has cancelled NOS4A2 after two seasons. Creator Jami O'Brien took to Twitter to confirm the sad news, which comes a week after the supernatural horror show aired its sophomore finale - now its series ender.
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Joe Hill, NOS4A2 follows Charlie Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children before depositing what's left of them into a twisted, icy village of his imagination called Christmasland. But his whole world is threatened when a young woman discovers she has a dangerous supernatural ability - and realizes she is the only one with the power to stop him.
Well friends, I heard from AMC last week. We won’t be making a 3rd season of #NOS4A2 . It’s a bummer, but I’m grateful we were at least able to finish adapting the storyline from Joe Hill’s terrific novel... 1/4

I only watched a few episodes of the second season and stopped watching. It should have just been a limited series as the first season holds up by itself and I don't feel it needed another

Once Charlie Manx was killed off there really was no need for another season. The only way I could see this going forward is if they continued in the same universe but didn't revisit any of the former characters. I wouldn't have been interested in watching Millie try to rebuild Christmasland or Maggie going darkside.

I liked Ashleigh Cummings in this but there was nowhere for a 3rd season to go anyway.

I don't get it. I remember Joe Hill saying to Jimmy Fallon that it had been picked up for a 3rd season. Did anyone else hear that interview? What did i mishear? He also discussed COVID and how that timing worked out for them...

Great show!!! I don't interstate how it could continue without Charlie manx!!! I was bummed that this story ended after only 2 seasons!!! RIP
