NBC has pulled Connecting... from its schedule after just four episodes. The move comes halfway through the comedy's 8-episode freshman run, with its remaining four episodes slated be released online on nbc.com and streaming service Peacock.

While the series received decent review from critics, it ultimately failed to draw a sizeable audience on Thursday nights. In its place through November 19, NBC will air episodes of Superstore in the 8:30pm time slot.

Made to reflect the coronavirus era, Connecting... follows a group of friends whose plans for 2020 went out the window after the global pandemic hit. They try to stay close - and maintain their sanity - by using video chat to share the highs and lows of their lives. Sick of isolation and quarantine, they lean on one another as they look forward to a better day.
