The acclaimed dramedy is returning as a limited series.
January 10, 2021
HBO Max announced today that it is bringing back Sex and the City as a 10-episode limited series. Titled And Just Like That..., the revival will feature at least three of the original show's main characters.
The original Sex and the City premiered in 1998, running for six seasons while garnering widespread critical acclaim and amassing a loyal fanbase. Since its conclusion in 2004, the show has been named to numerous 'best of all time' lists in television. Two movies have since followed, as well as a prequel series titled The Carrie Diaries that ran for two seasons on The CW.
The new limited series will reportedly catch up with Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda as they continue their complicated journey of love, life, and friendship in their 50s.

Lol that was kind of a jab at my wife who has dove all the way in to Hallmark movies. I kid because she misses so many other things but hey she watches 5 minutes if anything and she is hooked which works out get for me. Give Sex and the city a rest I had to watch er got to watch with a girlfriend,it could have been worse.

It is not like this will stop the next game of thrones, who cares mid aged woman need more than just Hallmark. It gave ladies something that was less button up, which is a win in my book.

It’s so sad they won’t just let this franchise die. The show ended perfectly, then they went and ruined it with those atrocious movies. Now they’re going to further bury it without Samantha, who was always the most interesting character. It’s time to put it out of its misery. These women are not the Golden Girls.

The lack of creativity and writing talent in this country is appalling!
I will admit the suits are astute enough to know they will NOT be attracting any demographic below age 30 so they are trolling for the original demographic who are in the same age group as the actors.

What a shame - the original series was awful, as were the films; now we have to put up with more of it.
