AMC announced today that Eli Roth's History of Horror has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes two months after the show concluded its sophomore run on the cable network.
In the series, award-winning director, writer, and producer Eli Roth brings together horror stars and icons who have helped define the genre. Together they explore its biggest themes, inspirations, and struggles throughout its history, as well as its evolution and impact on society. Guests have included Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Greg Nicotero, and Rob Zombie.
AMC has ordered another six episodes for Season 3 of History of Horror, matching the length of Season 2. Look for a premiere later this year.
