The classic comedy will return on the new streaming service.
February 24, 2021
In unveiling its future lineup today, Paramount+ announced that Frasier is being revived for a new run on the streaming service. The move brings back to TV one of the most successful and acclaimed comedies of all time.
Kelsey Grammar will be reprising his iconic role as the titular Frasier Crane, a Harvard-trained psychiatrist who moved back to his hometown of Seattle after his marriage ended in Boston. The original Frasier aired for 11 seasons, but the character first started out in the 1980s comedy Cheers before being spun off in 1993.

the comments on this website are always so annoying. shut up about "woke police". I'm not even very liberal (very centrist myself) but there is nothing wrong with shows having black or female characters. so tired of seeing you all always claim any show that has more than ONE character who isn't white is bad and "woke" and not worthy of more seasons (also you people could check the ratings and see that they achieved scores to be renewed LOL that is how tv works, companies care about $$ not woke points)

@J lmao you do understand that revival doesn't mean reboot, right? It literally says in the post that the cast is being led by Kelsey Grammar. Why would they make changes to characters when its literally a continuation?
Side note - I'm sorry you're so offended by equality.

The original Frasier is my favourite comedy of all time... But without John Mahoney it just won't be the same. I'll check it out anyway.

May not be an original but at least (so far) they have not announced any gender/race swapped characters. We will see the the Woke Police, SJW, Blue Checkmark, Cancel Culture mop attempt to influence this once and hopefully great character.

Hollywood couldn't come up with anything original?
