Netflix has confirmed that Prank Encounters has been picked up for a second season that is set to premiere in just a few weeks. It has been nearly a year and a half since the series aired its eight-episode freshman run, which ended up garnering mixed reviews.

Stranger Things' Gaten Matarazzo hosts the horror-themed hidden camera prank series where real people become the unwitting stars of their own horror movie. Fittingly, Season 2 of Prank Encounters premieres on April 1, aka April Fools' Day.
