Netflix announced today that Ginny & Georgia has been picked up for a second season. The good news came in the form of a video posted on the streaming giant's Twitter account, with the cast celebrating the renewal.

The hour-long dramedy released its freshman run in February, receiving generally positive reviews from critics and quickly jumping into the Netflix Top 10 chart. According to the streamer, 52 million subscribers have already watched the show's first season.

The story follows Ginny Miller, an angst-filled teenager who often feels more mature than her free-spirited 30-year-old mother, Georgia. When they move to a small Massachusetts town looking for a fresh start, they find that the road to new beginnings can be a bit rocky.
