TBS announced today that Wipeout has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes as no surprise, as the rebooted game show is off to a solid start through its first seven episodes. Its premiere on April 1 made it cable's top unscripted series of the year.
Hosted by John Cena and Nicole Byer, the show takes contestants of all ages, shapes, and sizes and has them go head-to-head through three rounds of physically demanding, but wildly hilarious, obstacles with hopes of taking home the grand prize.
Look for Season 2 of Wipeout in 2022.

Yeah I'm shocked this was renewed. The original was so funny. I still watch reruns to this day and am always laughing. The hosts are not funny... at all! I forward it whenever they are on. The 3rd isn't bad, but no Jill :). Please get new hosts.. Bring back the old crew!

Hate this show!! I watched the very first episode and haven't watched another one since. Plus, one people died on this Wipeout!! No one died on the old Wipeout!!! I will continue to watch the old Wipeouts forever!!

Yawn yawn yawn, this series is so boring compared to the old version that was on 10 years ago. I was a super fan of the old series but this one, after one episode I was like NOPE not again! The old hosts had a cetin chemistry and funniness about them, but the new hosts are boring and forcing the jokes way too hard. Also skipping around in the 1st around so you never really watched the contestants really finish the course only just get told which ones were after a few minutes but never seeing them cross the finish line. This show just sucks!!

I was also going to say horrible. I liked the original, but Nicole Byer is not funny on this show. When she hits on John Cena it is creepy!! If a man hit on a women that way nowadays, he would be fired and ostracized. Which brings me to my question, how do you F#%& UP Wipeout ? This is how.

Horrible reboot. None of the luster from the original. Original commentary seemed off-the-cuff and spontaneous. This version is 41 minute of Cena an Byer trying to FORCE humor by reading lines someone wrote four days later.
