Canada's Global TV has announced that Private Eyes will be coming to an end after its upcoming fifth season. The detective dramedy, which airs on ION Television in the US, will be wrapping up a successful run of 60 episodes that has resonated with audiences around the world.
The series stars Jason Priestley as former pro hockey player Matt Shade, who cuts his playing career short when he teams up with private investigator Angie Everett, working alongside her as a detective. The new partnership forces Matt to examine who he has become and who he wants to be while investigating high-stakes crimes. Together, the powerhouse duo challenge each other on the job and in their everyday lives.
The fifth and final season of Private Eyes will consist of eight episodes - its shortest run yet due to filming limitations caused by COVID-19. It will premiere for Canadian audiences on July 7.

It is hard to understand why this excellent Canadian show would be cancelled. It is extremely well done and very entertaining. Please reconsider this decision.

l, too, am sad to see the end of Private Eyes! Why is it that all the

A great Canadian show....a great show period!! Funny and entertaining without all the violence and heavy drama. Why is it ending?? We need to fight to keep great Canadian shows.

Please don't cancel the show, I love it watched all the episodes great cast, and story lines why cancel a great show.
