Showtime announced today that Flatbush Misdemeanors has been renewed for Season 2. The good news comes less than a month after the comedy wrapped its freshman run, which garnered widespread praise from critics.
The half-hour series follows lifelong friends Kevin and Dan, who are constantly adjusting to their evolving surroundings in their Flatbush, Brooklyn community. In their city life, the two try to climb out of their own heads and make connections with others.
Look for Season 2 of Flatbush Misdemeanors sometime in 2022.

..blech.. all atmosphere, no substance.
a4, the production company, isn't interested in shows with an actual plot or story arc. They merely make "day in the life of" shows. It's an okay diversion, but it's never going to be a "can't wait for the next episode" methodology. (Note Apple TV's Mr Corman.. same droll episodes, same production company.)
