The musical dramedy will continue in 2022.

Disney+ announced today that High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes less than two months after the show wrapped its sophomore run on the streaming service.
Billed as a modern take on the classic film series of the same name, the musical dramedy follows a group of students at East High who are counting down to opening night of their school's first-ever production of 'High School Musical.' Season 3 will keep up with the Wildcats as they leave East High behind for summer sleepaway camp.
Production on Season 3 is expected to kick off later this year for a likely return in mid-to-late 2022.

Watched this with my kids and first season was good, 2nd became to focused on sex and being gay, when its suppose to be a kids show it should be one. Never let them watch the 2nd one and won't the 3rd one.
Plus they aren't even close to the kids ages most are like in their mid 20's just corny for shows like these. Yet they cancel Good Girls and My Mamma Don't Work For Free As She is Classy A.F. My favorite show Cancel the Culture: Follow Your Millennials, Gen Z as They go Across the USA to Pick Fights with the Baby Boomers, Gen X and F@#k with Everyone Else!
