The British procedural nabs a two-season pickup.
February 15, 2022
Acorn TV has announced that London Kills has been renewed for Seasons 3 & 4. One of the streaming service's first original series, the police procedural will return sometime this year after a three-year absence.
The series follows an elite murder investigation squad, led by Detective Inspector David Bradford, the experienced head of London's Metropolitan Police Murder Investigation Team. His judgement is called into question after the unexpected disappearance of his wife, who has been missing for three months despite his best efforts to solve the case.

i had to watch from the beginning to remind myself of the characters..what amazes me are the gorgeous streets everyone seems to live in!! with all this kind of series though no-one seems to eat, sleep, their families disappear in the woodwork..what happened to David Bradford's rescued wife? and his obnoxious step-daughter? i quite enjoy the spanning views of London..always a parking space just for the police? i know I know, t.v. license.... having said all of the above, i am looking forward to series 4...

In fact and distressingly suchlike racism is rampant in parts of London and in other cities and rural areas.
Also London is a series of villages almost which makes the fact of so many involved in the production turn out to know each other or have family or share other relationships convicting enough as long as the script and the acting remain as good.

Here and there in the 3 series so far coincidences stretch credulity and also from time to time errors occur or liberties are taken with police arrest and interview procedures BUT it is a series of fascinating self contained cases where nonetheless there are always striking and very well acted connecting scenes.
I am most interested in watching Series 4 and beyond
