No Season 2 for the ensemble comedy.
May 13, 2022
It is being reported that Fox has cancelled Pivoting after one season. The midseason comedy premiered in January with a 10-episode run that drew high critical praise but failed to garner a sizeable audience.
The half-hour series starred Ginnifer Goodwin, Maggie Q, and Eliza Coupe as three close-knit friends living in Long Island. After the death of the fourth member of their group, they realize that life is short and each decide to change their current path. Through a series of ill-advised and self-indulgent decisions, their bonds strengthen and they prove it's never too late to mess up your life in the pursuit of happiness.

This show was hilarious! I'm not surprised it got canceled. It's only the stupid reality shows that get picked up

It never jelled for me. Plus, I didn't think there was all that much chemistry between the three leads.

I hope this show is picked up. It got a 100% on rotten tomatoes. So fingers crossed

Better than all of Fox's reality & game shows.

I thought this show was funny, albeit in a quirky kind of way.

While I am not surprised this show got cancelled, i will miss it. Like someone said it was mindless fun. That's the perfect way to describe it. But I knew from the get go it would be one season show. Maggie Q and Eliza Coupe I think both had one successful shows and then just a string of one season shows because I have watched many of them so its like they are cursed.

I watched the entire season so I am not surprised. The storyline with the mom having the affair with the much younger gym trainer was cringey! Plus going from a doctor to a supermarket bagger was ridiculous. Oh well.

This show was terrible in the writing aspect. If you have a friend or family member that dies from cancer, suicide, diabetes, etc. the LAST thing you're going to do is make jokes about that specific subject. Yet these women did it not once, not twice, but almost every episode.
