The Fosters spin-off will continue in 2023.
August 2, 2022
Freeform announced today that Good Trouble has been renewed for a fifth season. The good news comes with a handful of episodes remaining in Season 4, which concludes later this month after another solid outing that has it ranking as one of this year's best-rated cable dramas among women 18-34.
The hour-long series premiered in 2019 as a spin-off of 'The Fosters', which ended its five-season run the year before. The show follows Mariana and Callie as they begin a new stage of their lives as young adults living in downtown Los Angeles, California. Callie is a recent graduate of law school and must figure out how to navigate the legal system while working for a conservative judge. Mariana works in the male-dominated tech world, where she must forge her own path.
Look for Season 5 of Good Trouble in 2023.

I'm glad this show got renewed. My wife and I watch it together and it is a good show. The Fosters was better, but this is a good follow-up. Glad to see it's getting season 5!
