It was announced today that ABC has renewed Jimmy Kimmel Live! for another three years, extending the talk show's run through at least Season 23. The move makes it the network's longest-running late-night talk show and Kimmel one of the longest-tenured talk show hosts on TV.
Jimmy Kimmel hosts the nightly show, which features an opening monologue, interviews with celebrities, and well-known comedy segments such as 'Mean Tweets' and 'This Week in Unnecessary Censorship.' The show films in the El Capitan Entertainment Centre on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, CA.

Kimmel isn't a leftist. He talks a good game, but he's not. And he's not funny, either. At least we can all agree on that.

We all know why his show is renewed. Its not cause its funny or its good, its cause Jimmy has the "correct" politics.
To be fair though, he used to be funny back in the Man Show days when he had Adam Carolla to work with. Back then he was a family man with his wife and son. Then he started making it big and met Sarah Silverman and it was all downhill from there. She single handedly ruined him.

@ Chris W - I was thinking the same thing.
Kimmel a leftist mouthpiece just like Colbert and the rest. I watch reruns of Johnny Carson - he was professional, non political, a good conversationalist and just plain funny.
