Netflix announced today that Heartbreak High has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes a month after the teen dramedy released its freshman run, which has garnered an overwhelmingly positive critical reception.

In the series, which is a reboot of the 1994 Australian show of the same name, an incendiary mural is found graffitied on the school wall of Hartley High, which exposes everyone's secret hook-ups. Caught as the culprit, its author, Amerie, has to deal with the fallouts as a complete outcast.

Look for Season 2 of Heartbreak High in 2023.
