No Season 4 for the Batman butler origin story.
February 1, 2023
It is being reported that Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman's Butler has been cancelled by HBO Max after three seasons. The move comes two months after the drama wrapped its now-final run, which was its first season on the streaming service after moving from original network Epix in 2022.
Just last week, HBO Max also announced that fellow DC series 'Doom Patrol' and 'Titans' would also be ending after their current seasons.
Taking place in 1960s London, Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman's Butler follows former British SAS soldier Alfred Pennyworth, who forms a security company with billionaire Thomas Wayne. It is these roots that lay the groundwork for Alfred to eventually serve as the loyal butler of a young Bruce Wayne, and to later work alongside him when he grows up to become the superhero known as Batman.

That show was going in many weird directions, I mean did the wayans had a girl instead of bruce? and is Alfred supposed to be more older than the wayans? and sucks it ended on a cliffhanger. oh well.

One of the few shows worth watching.

It went REALLY weird there in a middle, even though I really enjoyed the first season and I feel it came back a LITTLE bit from the edge in the now final season, so while I fully understand the axing, I'm disappointed for the key cast members as I thought they were great...

I was just surprised the British media did not go berserk about the Queen shagging Batman’s butler. No wonder the character was removed in last season.

Not surprised, season three was a bit naff, all that malarkey with the mad woman. It was promising up till then but now they gone and blown it.
The production was good but I feel they squandered an opportunity, there wasn't much in-franchise joining up of the dots, bruce wayne might as well have been bob nobody the millionaire and without any other hitch to the bigger story it ended up being a series about a random guy on a wide boy fantasy romp.

Sometimes the right decisions are made, even though it is for corporate reasons. This show was excruciating to watch, and the plot was tortured right from the start. I gave up after 2 episodes, so no surprise that idgaf it got cancelled.
