Starz is reviving the drama with a new chapter.
February 10, 2023
Starz has announced that a new Spartacus series is being developed that will expand the brand, which aired four seasons on the network between 2010 and 2013. The show will be set in the same world after the defeat of Spartacus and his rebel army, and will feature a story that explores new journeys of the original's iconic characters.
"It has been over a decade since 'Spartacus' delighted international audiences and we are thrilled to reimagine and expand this gripping, action-packed drama for our viewers today," said Kathryn Busby, President, Original Programming, Starz. "'Spartacus' has deeply invested fans who are eager for its return, and we look forward to working with Steven on this exciting next chapter."
'Spartacus: Blood and Sand' premiered in 2010 and was followed by a prequel series chapter 'Spartacus: Gods of the Arena' in 2011. Two additional series, 'Spartacus: Vengeance' and 'Spartacus: War of the Damned' aired in 2012 and 2013. The upcoming yet-to-be-titled series likely won't premiere until 2024 at the earliest.

Sue : Girl, chill. Karen & Co are the usual anti-woke characters in these comments who mindlessly write alt-right stuff to sound edgy. If one makes a half decent comeback, they can't reply and will immediately attack YOU rather than the point you are making, like Karen did. Pay no attention to them.
Ok, now for what I wanted to OG comment about. I am mostly sure that any interest in the series will be because of nudity. Other than that, they have tried to milk the "Spartacus" brand once and it didn't really work. The producers don't know how to tell a good story, they only rely on CG and nudity for attracting audiences.

None of you Alt-right bros even watched the original. Jokes on you. The original had several gay and lesbian characters and black characters. hell, the characters you thought were white were Polynesian like Crixus. And the Romans were portrayed as evil racist white men. So....you want it to be like the original show or not? None of this made it woke. Woke is to be made aware and not ignorant like you lot. Using a term y'all don't even know- y'all stay stealing stuff from black people but don't know how to use it--and the show already had the stuff you're complaining about.
