Apple TV+ announced today that Shrinking has been renewed for a second season. The good news comes with three episodes remaining in the comedy's 10-episode freshman run. Since its January debut, the show has garnered high acclaim from both critics and audiences, who have praised its strong writing and the performances of its cast.
"We have loved the engaging, touching and hilarious world of 'Shrinking' since the beginning, and it has been wonderful to watch as audiences around the world continue to connect with these big-hearted characters," said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. "We can't wait for viewers to experience what the cast and creative team have for season two."
The half-hour series stars Jason Segel as Jimmy, a grieving therapist who starts to disregard the rules and tell his clients precisely what he thinks. Ignoring his training and the ethics of his profession, Jimmy finds himself effecting tumultuous changes to people's lives - as well as his own.

Totally agree with Kim & Kat. The naysayers should watch the later episodes. This series gets better and better each episode. Harrison Ford proves why he is a veteran of his craft. You'd never know @ episode 1 where his arc was headed, and you welcome every twist and turn his character takes.

This series gets better and funnier and more dimensional with each episode. The supporting characters are hilarious. Touching too. Strongly recommend.

What a disappointment. This series put me straight to sleep with episode 1. It's like Harrison Ford was doing the series between takes on the excellent "1923".

just the worst renewal. jason segal is so much better than this. sure he is tall and awkward, and does sitcoms for too long, but i don't think he needs to get psychobabbled by one of the greatest BlasTech DL-44 blaster holders in the universe. this sitcom would be better with the kessell runner maybe pshryincing 2 or so actors/actresses per season.
don't ask segal to carry this lowed.
