The kids series ends after five seasons.

It's the end of the road for Ridley Jones at Netflix. Creator of the kids' series, Chris Nee, has posted on social media that streaming service has cancelled the show after five seasons. Its final episodes were released in March.
Ridley Jones follows the titular character, who is the protector of the historic Museum of Natural History - and it's her job to keep everyone that lives there safe. Together with her team and the help of her magic compass, she'll stop at nothing to hide the secret that the museum comes alive at night.
Oh and yes, this is the end of the series. They cancelled us after what they just put out. They threw all the specials, the xmas special (now?), the feature length special, the CYNDI LAUPER episode and just quietly slipped it onto the service. So this is it.

As a father to a 5 y.o. I don't personally agree with raising the subject of gender identity in a programme aimed at young children.
but this was a fun show that my daughter really enjoyed, and it seems like its been ended because of the controversy, not due to the quality or popularity of the programme. its the kids that miss out and thats a shame.
