Prime Video and BBC One announced today that The Outlaws has been picked up for a third season. The news comes 10 months after the comedic thriller wrapped its sophomore run.

The series follows seven strangers from different walks of life who are thrown together to work on renovating a derelict community center. They resent the physical labor as much as they resent each other, but after finding a bag full of money they unite in ways none of them thought possible.

In the upcoming third season, crime boss The Dean is behind bars awaiting trial and The Outlaws are moving on with their lives. When one of their own returns with a deadly secret, it thrusts the group back into mortal danger. As a murder manhunt closes in on the gang, can they prove their innocence before The Dean's case collapses and he comes looking for revenge?
