Word is out that The Quest has been cancelled by Disney+. The hybrid competition series was revived by the streaming service in 2022 as it ramped up its original reality slate. The series started out on ABC back in 2014 but was axed after just one season.

Today's cancellation news is no surprise, as it has been over a year since the show was released. The Quest is one of a slew of shows apparently set to be removed from the streaming service on May 26 as part of cost-cutting measures recently put into place by Disney.

Set in a fantasy world of castles and creatures, the show features a group of eight competitors who are dropped into the fictional land of Everealm, where they work to save a kingdom from dark forces by fulfilling an ancient prophecy.
