No Season 3 for the drag singing competition.
June 23, 2023
Word is out that Queen of the Universe has been cancelled by Paramount+ after two seasons. The news comes just one day after the competition series released its final batch of episodes and crowned its latest winner.
The cancellation is part of an overall cost-cutting effort by the streaming service, which will include the removal of a number of shows from the platform shortly, including both seasons of Queen of the Universe.
Hosted by Graham Norton, the series features drag queens from across the globe gathering for an epic singing competition to see who rules the drag universe and takes home the $250,000 grand prize.

Another far left show bites the dust. Instead of complaining about crap, complain about kids watching this show.

@brenda wow do you honestly believe that the network canceled this and then removed it due to right wing people? These networks don't give two shits about any of us. If the viewers are there it stays .if nobody is watching it goes .it's that simple. So go play your victim card somewhere else .and you might as well get use to it .looks like most of these networks are pulling propaganda content off the air because people are sick of it

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
You will still watch it and continue to pay for the service.
Actually, bowing down was putting it on their service, cancelling was for monetary reasons.
Great run on sentence too.

Singing shows are the lowest form of entertainment..... Okay, not the lowest.... they are one step above news-based, single person, opinion-based, (fat man), televised talk shows (like the Alex Jones, Limbaugh, et.al).
All shows based on "singing" should be canceled.
They are not entertaining as evidenced by the whole "spectacle" most of these shows have which surrounds the singing...a clear effort to try and FORCE the singing to be more entertaining. No one goes to concerts to just see a singer sing... they go for the entire "experience" of a night out... there's no "experience" sitting at home watching some television show.
The "drag" aspect has nothing to do with this comment. The "drag" aspect was nothing more than the "spectacle" this particular show chose to use.

OK, so, all other american hate-based gender politics aside, what is really concerning to me is the trend of studios not only cancelling shows, but taking them off-air altogether as a way to get a tax write-off and put a profit on the books. We are losing history here. How many shows have there been in the past that have been cancelled after one season, or even mid-season, that have gone on to become cult classics and remembered fondly by many even decades later? Firefly comes to mind, for one. Freaks and Geeks. DeadWood. Rome.
Imagine if these were taken off the archives forever and their negatives burned as a cost-cutting measure by studios at the time.
This is concerning behavior by studios.

I'm so outraged. This and Grease were both great shows
If anyone is reading this, go the paramount + on facebook and twitter and tell them how you feel. This was truly a great show, and I am so disappointed in PM for such as low move. Let them know how you feel and maybe they will reverse this horrible decision, horrible low-down stream service they are. Also, their "cost-cutting" won't be effective if everyone cancels. So please, if you can do without paramount, cancel it when they cancel you fave shows :((
