No Season 3 for the historical drama.
April 21, 2024
It is being reported by TVLine that MGM+ has cancelled Domina after two seasons. The news comes eight months after the historical drama wrapped its now-final 8-episode sophomore run.
The British-Italian series premiered in 2021 on Epix in the US, which has since been rebranded as MGM+. Both seasons garnered praise from both critics and viewers.
Set during one of the most provocative periods in Roman history, Domina follows the extraordinary rise of Livia Drusilla, the third wife of Emperor Augustus Caesar. In the midst of affairs, exploits, and battles for political power, Caesar and Livia sit at the heart of the Roman Empire.

Good show. But the idea that livia wanted to return the republic is laughable. She murdered to get her son into power. Tiberius did not want it even . Still any show about ancient rome is ok by me. I watch tons of shows on rome and I am reading mary beard's book. The roman emporer.
