Peacock wants more of the Seth MacFarlane series.

Peacock announced today that Ted has been renewed for a second season. Initially billed as an event series, the show fared better than expected for the streamer, becoming the top original streaming comedy in the US for two months after its January release. It also now ranks as Peacock's most-watched original title to date.
A prequel to the hit film franchise of the same name created by Seth MacFarlane, the show is set in 1993 after Ted the bear's moment of fame has passed. He has moved back home to Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, along with John's parents, Matty and Susan and cousin Blaire. Ted may be a bad influence on John, but at the end of the day, he's a loyal pal who is always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.

This is the funniest show on tv. Seth kills it as Ted and I like the actors who play John and his family. Blaire is a great surprise. This show has a 7.9 on IMDB and I rate it a nine. Great news!

I loved this show. Glad to hear that it was renewed. Outside of Ted, I enjoyed the father, including His childhood toy, Dennis the Dump Truck.
