The new comedy scores an early Season 2 pickup.
May 21, 2024
Netflix announced today that Tires has already been picked up for a second season. The news comes ahead of the workplace comedy's premiere this Thursday, signaling the streamer's confidence in the project. For most of their shows, Netflix waits for viewership data before making renewal decisions.
Co-created by comedian Shane Gillis, the series follows Will, the anxious and seemingly unqualified heir of a once bustling auto repair chain. He is now attempting to turn his father's business around despite constant torture from his cousin, and now employee, Shane, played by Gillis himself.

Oh man.. this show is pretty bad... the lead guy, the one without a chin, "Will" ... just sucks as an actor.
