No Season 2 for the British comedy.

It is being reported by Deadline that Apple TV+ has cancelled Still Up after one season. The news comes seven months after the British comedy wrapped its 8-episode run, which garnered a positive reception from critics and viewers.
The half-hour series follows Lisa, a free-spirited aspiring illustrator who is best friends with socially anxious journalist Danny. Bonded by insomnia, they stay connected to each other late into the night, navigating a world of wonderfully weird surprises as their relationship deepens.

This sucks, I really enjoyed this show. Shipped the main two and wanted to see where it went. I wish it hadn't ended on a cliffhanger.

Can someone tell me if this show ends on a satisfying end or is there a cliffhanger? Otherwise I'll never bother watching

This show has the same exact plot as a manga/anime that came out 4 years before this. Just saying.
