Apple TV+ announced today that Presumed Innocent has been renewed for Season 2. Originally billed as a limited series, the pickup comes after the show became the streaming service's #1 most-viewed drama of all time.
Season 1 is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Scott Turow. Set in Chicago, it follows a horrific murder that upends the city's Prosecuting Attorney's Office when the chief deputy prosecutor, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is suspected of the crime. This leaves the accused fighting to hold his family and marriage together. Season 2 will follow a completely new case.
Two episodes remain in the show's freshman run, with the finale scheduled to release on July 24.

If you would have read the whole article you would see that they answered your questions by stating that season 2 will follow a whole new case. Therefore it is an anthology You’re the one behind, not me. I would try to explain what an anthology is so your feeble mind could understand it but I’m sure you quit reading this by now.

Geronimo. Are you mentally challenged?.. First off , you said read the story. Do you mean the book?Are you clueless that this us based on a book? The film also did not have a part two. Also you seem like you cannot grasp basic ideas like that tv series often follow their own path. What is their plan? Instead you put on a stupid comment that makes no sense..very strange...
