Apple TV+ announced today that Loot has been picked up for a third season. The news comes less than two months after the comedy wrapped its sophomore run.
"We are thrilled to come back for a third season," said Maya Rudolph and Danielle Renfrew Behrens of Banana Split Projects. "We're extremely fortunate to spend more time with our talented cast and crew. Making this show with Apple TV+ has been a joy, and we can't wait to reunite with our Loot family."
"With each season, Loot continues to deliver joy, laughs and endearing characters for audiences around the world," said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. "We are excited to partner with Maya Rudolph, and the entire cast and creative team behind Loot, to create even more heartfelt moments with an ensemble of fan favorite characters in season three."
The half-hour series stars 'SNL' alum Maya Rudolph as Molly Novak, a billionaire who has everything she could ever desire. But when her husband of 20 years betrays her, she publicly spirals and ends up in all the tabloids. Just as she is at her lowest point, Molly discovers that she has a charity foundation and embarks on a journey of giving back to others, which might just be what she needs to get back to herself.

Check out Maya's most recent SNL hosting performance.
It is so so so much better than her outward lambasting, weird neck turns, weird facial expressions, exaggerated stuff.
