The docuseries will spotlight more toys in 2025 and 2026.

It was announced today that The Toys That Made Us will be coming back for two new seasons beginning next year. Creator Brian Volk-weiss took to Instagram with the good news, confirming that Seasons 5 and 6 of the docuseries are on the way - with a total of 8 new episodes slated for 2025 and 2026.
The show premiered in 2017, airing three seasons through 2019 when it was thought to have ended. Today's announcement will surely please fans of vintage toys, as a new batch of old favorites will now get to see the spotlight.
The show takes a deep dive into the origins of history's most iconic and impactful toy franchises. Some had meteoric rises, some had big falls, but all of these billion-dollar creations were important to legions of children. Some of the toy lines covered include Transformers, Star Wars, G.I. Joe, LEGO, My Little Pony, Power Rangers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I haven't seen this series yet, but I have seen the "Movies That Made Us" series and we thorougly enjoyed that one.
Looking forward to seeing this one and reliving some old childhood memories, lol!
