The British drama will return for a second season.

Netflix announced today that Supacell has been renewed for Season 2. The news comes six weeks after the British drama released its six-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
The show has been off to a strong start since its late June debut. It has garnered high praise from both critics and viewers alike, and has also spent many weeks in numerous global Top 10 lists.
Created by Rapman, the series follows five ordinary South Londoners who unexpectedly gain extraordinary powers. Pursued by a secret organization that wants to control them, one man must bring them together in order to save the woman he loves before it's too late.

First season Suuuuuuucked.. was was a bit racist when it wasn't just overly boring and predictable.. the writing was absiolutely terrible. It was like a wannabe black version of Heroes. The young black people wanting to be "thugs" and "rappers" is such a old beat to death stereotype. Then there were the really below par CGI effects.. just looked terrible. This should NEVER be renewed.

The first season was actually really good. Second season makes sense.

I haven't watched it yet but I've heard good things. Will probably start now...
