No Season 2 for the comic-based dramedy.

It is being reported that Dead Boy Detectives has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. The news comes four months after the supernatural dramedy released its 8-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
The show debuted in April, garnering praise from both critics and viewers. It spent, however, only three weeks in Netflix's English language Top 10, failing to reach the #1 spot.
Based on the DC Comics characters of the same name, the series follows Charles Rowland and Edwin Payne, two teenage ghosts who work alongside a clairvoyant to solve mysteries for their supernatural clientele — until a powerful witch complicates their plans.

I liked this show it was a spinoff of the sandman Tv series.

Last I saw of this was in 2022 and was excited for it. I'm on Netflix daily and never saw anything that it came out. Netflix shot this series in the foot from the start with no advertising.

This was a really good show and will be missed. Possibly the reason why I cancel Netflix.

If it wasn't for this site I wouldn't even know this show existed and like my usual reviews after reading the story line I could not see this being a show that makes it multiple seasons or even a limited series kind of thing.
