The horror series is coming back for a second season.

Shudder announced today that The Creep Tapes has been renewed for Season 2. The news comes less than two months after the horror series wrapped its 6-episode freshman run, which ranked as the most watched Shudder series of all time on AMC+ and also had the strongest November release in Shudder history.
"We made the first season of The Creep Tapes completely independently, so we were able to truly and unabashedly get our freak on," said executive producer Mark Duplass. "The fact that so many of you watched it that Shudder not only asked us for more but asked us to go even further this time around? That's just... really, really unsettling. And terrifically exciting."
Serving as the next installment of the iconic "Creep" found horror footage film franchise, the show continues to unravel the mind of a secluded serial killer who lures videographers into his world with the promise of a paid job documenting his life. But as the tape rolls, the killer's questionable intentions surface with his increasingly odd behavior, and the victims learn they may have made a deadly mistake.
Look for Season 2 of The Creep Tapes later this year.
