No Season 3 for the spy drama.

It is being reported that The Recruit has been cancelled by Netflix after two seasons. Cast member Colton Dunn took to social media this afternoon with the news, which comes a month after the spy drama released its 6-episode sophomore run.
"The Recruit has been cancelled yall," Dunn shared on Threads. "Such a bummer. I'll share some pics and fun memories on IG but just wanted you to hear it from me. Thanks if you watched. I'm AVAILABLE NOW! Hire me for you tv story!!"
Creator Alexi Hawley later posted a lengthy love letter to the show on X, detailing its journey to the small screen. He thanked the cast and crew, while also expressing that he'd be open to making a follow-up movie if the opportunity presented itself. Read the entire letter below.
The series follows CIA lawyer Owen Hendricks, who discovers a threatening letter by a former asset who will expose her relationship with the agency unless they exonerate her of a serious crime. Owen soon finds himself caught up in a dangerous world of power politics and mischievous players. With the stakes already high, he must now travel the world to complete his assignment and make his mark at the CIA.

This really sucks. I really liked this show. Add this to The Old Man and Halo to name 3 shows I liked that got axed ater the 2nd season. It's no wonder I hesitate to start a new show.

@Pat, Richard Blanco- Not sure why you believe that Night Agent has been cancelled. Not true. It was already renewed for season 3 before season 2 even dropped.

This is a good show to say that I’m disappointed that it’s canceled is an understatement. I wish Netflix would reconsider night agent. The executive The recruit all good shows

Does season 2 end on a cliff hanger? I would like to watch it but not if it doesn’t come to a reasonable ending.

The first season was excellent but season 2 was very disappointing. Won't be missed.
