No Season 6 for the Tyler Perry comedy.
May 5, 2025
It is being reported that Nickelodeon has cancelled Tyler Perry's Young Dylan after five seasons. The news comes less than a week after the comedy wrapped its now-final run on the cable network.
"After five incredible seasons of Tyler Perry's Young Dylan, we are officially wrapping production," said Nickelodeon in a statement. "We're deeply proud of the entire cast and crew, as well as our amazing partners at Tyler Perry Studios, for the work they've created and the stories they've brought to life around this show."
The half-hour series follows aspiring 10-year-old hip-hop artist Young Dylan, who is sent by his grandmother to live with her affluent son and his family. But the household is soon turned upside down when their nephew's lifestyle clashes with his straight-laced cousins.

It wasn't aimed at you. You generally post right. Your response was almost perfect. I was trying to preempt the trolls. You follow the golden rule:
If you can say why a show is woke, say why. If you can't say why, then it isn't. Using code words is just a lazy way to say your a radical.
Please use the word "woke" in your post to warn us you are a useless racist.
Sad to see it go!
