The British comedy gets a long-awaited pickup.

Apple TV+ announced today that Trying has been picked up for a fifth season. The renewal comes nearly a full year after Season 4 debuted on the streaming service. The British comedy has consistently garnered favorable reviews since its premiere in 2020.
The half-hour series follows a couple who want to start a family but are having trouble conceiving a child. Not being able to do it the traditional way, they decide to adopt, but are confronted by a bunch of perplexing challenges. They'll need to keep their chaotic lives, crazy family, and dysfunctional friends in check enough to convince the adoption panel that they're ready to be parents.
