Netflix announced today that Bad Thoughts has been renewed for a second season. The news comes a month after the comedy released its 6-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
"It was such a thrill to get the opportunity to entertain and horrify audiences with our very Bad Thoughts on Netflix," said creator and star Tom Segura in a statement. "We're all so excited to push things further with season 2. I promise your family will not approve of what we do."
The dark and twisted comedic series sees Tom Segura navigate unthinkable situations and fantasies within a cinematic world that brings his unfiltered musings to life.

What I saw after hitting 'play' was horrifying. A worker in a retirement home letting a bunch of elderly people eat his ass. How anyone could find this funny is beyond me. I shut it off at that point. Disgusting.
I'm surprised even one person could get through a whole season of this, let alone so many people that Netflix would give it a second season. I'm utterly shocked to see this one renewed.
Despite wanting to cover my eyes many times and fighting off a significant urge to dry heave during most of the episodes…. It’s my belief more episodes of Bad Thoughts are needed to raise awareness that Robert Iler hasn’t worked in tv or films in quite some time and it really shows. His episodes didn’t feel authentic to me. Additionally, a second season will allow Tom Segura to cast his best Bertrand Chrysalis in an episode rather than Bobby Lee. Bobby does way too many guest roles that never earn him an Emmy or Golden Globe. With that said congratulations on the second season and maybe you’ll have the funds to hire security for yourself, Bertrand and Jennifer… for protection.
