The Leanne Morgan comedy has more story to come.

Netflix announced today that Leanne has been picked up for a second season. The news comes five weeks after the comedy released its 16-episode freshman run on the streaming service.
"We're coming back for a second season!" said co-creator and star Leanne Morgan. "I am so grateful to all the writers, producers, Netflix, WB, our amazing cast, and especially for all the fans of the show. Y'all did this for us, and we can't wait to be back!"
"Much thanks and gratitude to Netflix for this amazing opportunity," added co-creator Chuck Lorre. "Congrats to Leanne and the entire cast and crew. This has been an incredible journey that began with a visit to Knoxville, Tennessee. Leanne Morgan is the whole package. A comedic genius, a warm, loving human being, and an absolute joy to work with."
Inspired by her stand-up, the series follows Leanne as her life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. Starting over as a menopausal grandmother isn't exactly what she had in mind, but with help from her family Leanne will navigate this new chapter of her life with grace, dignity, and Jello salad.

It took a couple of episodes but this is a really great show. Leanne seems so sweet and she and Kristen Johnston have great chemistry.

This show is pretty funny and she does a great job for someone with little acting experience. Plus her and Kristen Johnson really have good chemistry as sisters.
