'Dance Moms: A New Era' Sets Season 2 Return

The reality reboot returns in December.

Hulu announced today that Dance Moms: A New Era will be coming back for a second season on December 8. The news comes over a year after the reality series released its freshman run.

A reboot of the hit Lifetime series 'Dance Moms,' this new version features coach Glo Hampton, who wants to take her students and prestigious dance school Studio Bleu to the next level and compete nationally every week. Coach Glo must work with her tiny but mighty dancers while dealing with their scheming moms and ensuing meltdowns - all while ruling with a tender but tough iron fist.

In Season 2, Studio Bleu has suddenly closed, and Glo must scramble to rebuild as Project X with her daughter Kaeli coaching beside her. Tensions rise when a new mom and dancer join the team, and one mom's personal struggle has a devastating effect on the studio.
